Many car manufacturers have stopped production due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and now Audi and Volkswagen are changing their logos – at least temporarily.

To promote social distancing, which is used around the world to combat the spread of coronavirus, VW and Audi have added a little extra distance to their logos.

The four Audi rings “parted” in different directions, while the Volkswagen badge leaves extra space between the letter “V” and the letter “W”.

Governments and healthcare organizations around the world claim that physical distance of 2 meters from other people will help prevent the transmission of coronavirus.

Other measures of social distance taken in many countries include closing schools, canceling large gatherings, and travel restrictions.
